USDA, Forest Service, Ohio River Basin Procurement Cluster has a requirement for a contractor to provide labor, services, material and equipment necessary for the design, fabrication and construction of a standard stairway to replace an existing ships ladder to a control tower within the bison handling facilities at Midewin National Tallgrass Prairie., Wilmington, Illinois. The government intends to award one contract. The contract term will be 30 days beginning in September, 2020. The stairway including support structure, stair treads, and hand and guard rails, shall be constructed to meet all OSHA standards. The stairway shall be of traditional design. Ships ladders, alternating tread and spiral stairways, will not be allowed. Project location: Wilmington, IL in Will County. All work is to comply with local, Federal and State codes and is subject to Construction wage rates. The requirement is being solicited as a Small Business set-aside. One award is anticipated.
