This is a Request for Information for providing an update to the Midewin National Tall Grass Prairie, Wilmington, IL greenhouse cooling systems so that it can be used for growing native plants throughout the growing season, from May through August/September. The temperature inside the greenhouse needs to be reduced in the summer months to make it as close to outside ambient temperature as possible, within 5°F. All methods of upgrade will be reviewed and considered. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238220 and the size standard is $15mil. Service Wage Rates is applicable. Responses must include vendor's TIN (Tax Identification Number) and DUNS number. Vendors must be registered in SAMS (www.sams.gov) to be considered. All work is to comply with local, Federal and State codes. Interested contractors must respond to this RFI no later than 11:00a.m. est, April 22, 2019 by e-mail at roger.manning@usda.gov. The RFQ will be 12-52B1-19-Q-0016.
