"Power wash exterior walls" under Scope 2-Building 21 is removed. This service is not required. An updated Statement of Work is attached. There are no other changes to this solicitation. Offerors must acknowledge this Amendment 1 in their offer per FAR 52.212-1(b)(9). ------------------------ This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 12505B21Q0070 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2021-05. It is the offeror’s responsibility to be familiar with the applicable provisions and clauses. The clauses may be accessed in full text at www.acquisition.gov/far and www.acquisition.gov/agar. This solicitation is 100% set aside for small business. The associated NAICS code is 561720; the small business size standard is $19.5 million. The government intends to issue a firm fixed price purchase order to include a base year and four option years. The basis for award will be best value. Quotes will be evaluated on technical capability, delivery schedule, and price. Technical and delivery when combined are significantly more important than price. The USDA-ARS in Ames, Iowa, has the need for the following: Window washing services per attached SOW. BASE YEAR: $ OPTION YEAR 1: $ OPTION YEAR 2: $ OPTION YEAR 3: $ OPTION YEAR 4: $ SUBMISSION OF QUOTES Submit signed and dated offers to the office specified in this solicitation at or before the exact time specified in this solicitation. Offers may be submitted on the SF 1449, letterhead stationery, or as otherwise specified in the solicitation. As a minimum, quotes must show— (1) The solicitation number (12505B21Q0070) (2) The time specified in the solicitation for receipt of offers; (3) The name, address, telephone number OR email address, and DUNS number of the offeror; (4) A technical description of the items/services being offered in sufficient detail to evaluate compliance with the requirements in the solicitation. This may include product literature, or other documents, if necessary; (5) Terms of any express warranty; (6) Price and any discount terms; (7) "Remit to" address, if different than mailing address; (8) A completed copy of the representations and certifications at FAR 52.212-3 (see FAR 52.212-3(b) for those representations and certifications that the offeror shall complete electronically); (9) Acknowledgment of Solicitation Amendments; (10) Past performance information, when included as an evaluation factor, to include recent and relevant contracts for the same or similar items and other references (including contract numbers, points of contact with telephone numbers and other relevant information); and (11) If the offer is not submitted on the SF 1449, include a statement specifying the extent of agreement with all terms, conditions, and provisions included in the solicitation. Offers that fail to furnish required representations or information, or reject the terms and conditions of the solicitation, may be excluded from consideration. NOTE: Quotes must include all fees, delivery charges, and/or surcharges. Quotes must be valid for a minimum of 30 days. This will be a tax-exempt purchase.
