The USDA/ARS intends to award a Firm fixed price sole source contract under the authority of 41 U.S.C 253(c)(1) and FAR 13.106(b)(1)(i), only one responsible source, to: Qiagen, LLC 19300 Germantown Road Germantown, MD 20874 Description of Requirement: The objective of this sole source award is to procure DNA/RNA purification workstations that use silica resin technology for nucleic acid extraction and deliver highly pure nucleic acid preps in volumes greater than 100 uL. This requirement will be for the purchase of the following: QIACube Connect with Qbase connectivity unit and tablet - QTY 1 QIACube Connect instrument only - QTY 1 Installation and Training The NAICS Code for this requirement is 334516; the small business size standard is 1,000 employees. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. All information received by 1:00 PM Central Daylight Time on September 9, 2019 will be considered by the Government. Responses shall be submitted to Josh Dobereiner at josh.dobereiner@usda.gov.
