This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 12, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation issued as Request for Quote (RFQ) 12475619Q0010. FAR clauses and provisions enclosed within this RFQ are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-100 and are available in full text through Internet access at http://www.acquisition.gov/far. The Tellico Ranger District has a requirement for mowing wildlife forage areas and recreation fields on the Cherokee National Forest, Tellico Plains,Tennessee as further detailed in the solicitation Statement of Work. This solicitation will result in a single award on the basis of technical capability, past performance, and price as best meets the needs of the Government. The proposed contract will have a base period, which runs through February 28, 2020, with 2 option years. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561730 and the small business size standard is $7.5 million. The solicitation for this project will be available only through the Federal Business Opportunities website www.fbo.gov. The proposed contract is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. All responsible, qualified small businesses may submit an offer which will be considered by the Forest Service. Performance of this contract is subject to the Service Contract Act. Offerors are encouraged to visit the Department of Labor Wage Determinations Online website (www.wdol.gov) to determine prevailing wage rates for Monroe County, Tennessee prior to submitting an offer. All Offerors shall be registered at the System for Award Management (www.sam.gov) to be eligible for award. No Pre-Bid conference will be held.
