The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Marketing Service, Cotton and Tobacco Program has a requirement for a conveyor system as described in the attached Request for Proposal (RFP). This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested, the RFP is attached. This is a total small business set-aside. Award will be made to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to this combined synopsis/solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. A trade-off process will be used to evaluate offers. To be awarded this contract, the offeror must be registered and active in the System for Award Management (www.SAM.gov). Registration in SAM is free. Read the RFP in its entirety. Instructions are found in Section E. You must submit the required documents stated in Section E or your proposal will be deemed non-responsive. Proposals are due on January 14, 2022 at 10:00 am central time.
