The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Marketing Service, Cotton and Tobacco Program has a requirement for a conveyor system as described in the attached Request for Proposal (RFP). They system must be delivered, installed and accepted by July 15, 2019. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested, the RFP is attached and includes all applicable clauses and provisions. This is a total small business set-aside. Award will be made to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to this combined synopsis/solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. A trade-off process will be used to evaluate offers. To be awarded this contract, the offeror must be registered in the System for Award Management (www.SAM.gov). Registration in SAM is free. Proposals are due on February 19, 2019 at 2:00 pm central time. Proposals may be submitted via email to BeverlyS.Brown@usda.gov. Proposals may be mailed to Beverly Brown, 100 Riverside Parkway, Suite 101, Fredericksburg, VA 22406.
