The US Forest Service has a requirement for road construction. Work to be performed under this contract includes, but is not inclusive of, erosion control measures, installation of new culverts, aggregate base spreading and compacting, roadbed reconditioning, ditch and cut slope excavation, lead off ditch construction, clearing and grubbing, and seeding and mulching. The project is located in the National Forests in Florida, Ocala Ranger District near Salt Springs, FL 32134 - FSR 09 at mile post 20.5 at NFSR 50 Intersection. The Beginning of Project is Latitude: 29°21'35.24"N, Longitude: 81°44'6.04"W and the Ending of Project is Latitude: 29°25'28.82"N, Longitude: 81°39'59.06"W. The period of performance will be for 120 days after the Notice to Proceed has been issued. The magnitude of this project is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. Payment and Performance Bonds will be required of the Awardee; a Bid Guarantee is will be required. This requirement is a 100% Total Small Business Set Aside. The Government plans to award one Firm Fixed Priced contract. The solicitation will be available on this site on or about 3 June 2020. If a preproposal site visit is held, may not held be due to COVID-19, the date and time will be listed on the solicitation. The is no incumbent to this project. The solicitation has been posted.
