The US Forest Service has a requirement for a Compound Landscaping Maintenance Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract on the Savannah River Site located 10 miles east of Aiken, South Carolina. The Savannah River Site is a restricted government site under the control of the Department Of Energy. This requirement is a 100% Total Small Business Set Aside. The requirement will be for a one (1) year base period with four (4) one year options. The Maximum amount to be awarded over the life of the contract is $500,000.00; the guaranteed minimum is $30,000.00 over the life of the contract. The Government plans to award one Firm Fixed Priced contract but reserves the option to award more than one. Work to be performed under this contract includes, but is not inclusive of, mowing, weeding, edging, emptying trash receptacles into dumpsters on the site, leaf blowing, needle clean up, trimming hedges and shrubs, trimming tree limbs, removing weeds, replacing topsoil and/or sod, fertilizing, bush hogging areas, weed/grass control through spraying, and other general ground maintenance work. The solicitation will be available on this site on or about 19 May 2020. A preproposal site visit will be held; see the solicitation for further information. The Savannah River Site is a Department of Energy Secured Site. Visitors must obtain a site pass to gain access. Information on who to contact is listed with the pre-proposal site visit information. The incumbent was Today, Tomorrow Enterprises of North Augusta, SC. Their IDIQ contract was for a base plus two option years, AG-466-C-17-0020, from 1 May 2017 to 31 March 2020 with a maximum guarantee of $125,000.00 for the entirety of the contract and a minimum guarantee of $7,500.00 for the entirety of the contract. Three task orders were issued for a total amount of $121,000.00.
