The US Forest Service has a requirement for Road Maintenance on the Savannah River SIte located 10 miles east of Aiken, South Carolina. The Savannah River Site is a restricted government site under the control of the Department Of Energy. This requirement is a 100% Competitive 8A Small Business Set Aside. Only 8A Certified Small Businesses that have a bona-fide office as defined by the Small Business Administration in the State of South Carolina are eligible to submit a proposal on this project. The requirment is for a 1 year base period with 4 one year options. The Maximum to be awarded over the life of the contract is $5,000,000.00. The guaranteed minimum is $20,000.00 over the life of the contract. The Government plans to award a single Firm Fixed Price contract. Work to be performed under this contract inculdes, placement of aggregate, blading, shaping of berms, and ditch cleaning. The solicitation wll be available on this site on or about 28 Feb 2020. A preproposal site visit is scheduled for 3 March at 9:30 AM. The Savannah River Site is a Department of Energy Secured Site. Visitors must obtain a site pass to gain access. For Contractors interesting in attending the site visit please contact Raven Woodard via email Raven.Woodard@usda.gov. You must contact Raven no later than Thursday 27 Feb 2020 at 12:00 Hrs to allow the visitor’s pass to be processed. Requests received after that time may not be processed. Please provide the name of your company and full name of the employees attending. Attached are the ID requirements for gaining access to the site. Please indicate the Solicitation Number for the project you are interested in – you only need address one.
