The US Forest Service has a requirement for Facility Maintenance and Construction Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) on the Savannah River Site located 10 miles east of Aiken, South Carolina. The Savannah River Site is a restricted government site under the control of the Department Of Energy. This requirement is a 100% Total Small Business Set Aside. The requirement will be for a one (1) year base period with four (4) one year options. The Maximum amount to be awarded over the life of the contract is $2,000,000.00. The guaranteed minimum is $10,000.00 over the life of the contract to each awardee. The Government plans to award two Firm Fixed Priced contracts. Work to be performed under this contract includes, but is not inclusive of, work on existing building and other structures; repairing, replacing, or installing electrical systems; thermal and moisture protection; masonry projects; locksmithing; plastering, dry-walling, and painting walls; power washing buildings; framing; replacing carpets; sheet metal work; and welding. The solicitation will be available on this site on or about 28 Feb 2020. A preproposal site visit is scheduled for 3 March at 9:30 AM. The Savannah River Site is a Department of Energy Secured Site. Visitors must obtain a site pass to gain access. The seed project for this IDIQ will be posted with the pre-bid site visit notes. Contractors interested in attending the preproposal site visit must contact Raven Woodard via email Raven.Woodard@usda.gov. You must contact Raven no later than Thursday 27 Feb 2020 at 12:00 PM EST to allow the visitor’s pass to be processed. Requests received after that time may not be processed. Please provide the name of your company and full name of the employees attending. Attached are the ID requirements for gaining access to the site; pay attention to these requirements – they will not let you on if you do not. Indicate the Solicitation Number for the project you are interested in – you only need address one. The preproposal conferences for the following projects will be held together: 12467020R0031 Facilities Maintenance (Small Business Set-A Side) 12467020R0032 Road Maintenance (8A Competitive Set-A-Side) 12467020R0033 Road Construction (Small Business Set-A-Side) Amendment 1 has been posted. Amendment 1 contains the seed project that will be used to establish this IDIQ as well as the pre-bid site visit notes and sign in sheet. Amendment 2 has been posted. Amendment 2 amends page 2 of "12467020R0031 Body" to incorporate Attachment 7 - Relevant Experience Questionnaire as a required document when submitting proposals. Amendment 3 has been posted. Amendment 3 extends the proposal due date to 1200 PM EST on 27 April 2020. Amendment 4 has been posted. Amendment 4 removes hand deliverying or mailing proposals. Only electronic mail (e-mail) of proposals will be accepted.
