The USDA Forest Service, National Forest in North Carolina, Uwharrie Ranger District, Montgomery County has a requirement for monthly Water Monitoring. The resultant contract will be a 12-month Base Year plus four 12-month Option Years. The method required for testing water samples must comply with EPA and/or State of North Carolina, Department of Environmental Protection (NC DEP) total coliform bacteriological testing. The laboratory is to have a facility in which to receive the water samples from the Forest Service personnel from the Troy, NC office. Proposals may be deemed unresponsive if these documents are not provided at the time proposals are due: Price Proposal shall include the following: 1) SF 1449 (signed and dated) – page 1 2) Attachment 1, Schedule of Items (1 page) or Contractor’s Proposal Technical Proposal: 1) Attachment 5, Relevant Experience Questionnaire (if experience is unknown to this Forest) 2) Representation and Certification if not updated at www.sam.gov 3) Amendments to this solicitation (if applicable)
