The USDA Forest Service has a requirement for the Thirty year measurements of Long Term Soil Productivity sites in the Pacific Southwest Region of the U.S. Forest Service. It is the purpose of this contract to secure services for conifer measurements, vegetation biomass harvesting or inventorying, forest floor measuring and collecting, and soil bulk density sampling for seven of the twelve study sites of the Pacific Southwest Region's Long Term Soil Productivity Study. These tasks are done at 5 year intervals on each LTSP site. This work starts on each site when that site becomes five years old. The work is scheduled on a yearly basis reflecting when each site reached the age of 30. Yearly measurements scheduled under this contract will be made after the growing season in the fall (before leaf fall) or in the spring of the following year before the next growing season starts. This will be a 100% Small Business set aside The anticipated is a Firm Priced Service Indefinite Delivery Definite Quantity Service Contract. There will be an base period with 4 additional ordering periods within September 01, 2019 through November 1, 2024 if all ordering periods exercised. The entire Solicitation Package shall post to FBO no later than COB June 17, 2019. There is no site visit scheduled for this requirement, all questions must be sent to the CO no later than July, 1, 2019.
