*********PRESOLICITATION********** The purpose of this project is to mitigate streambed degradation and erosion issues at the outlet structure of Turkey Fork Lake, located in the Turkey Fork Recreation Area on the Chickasawhay Ranger District in the De Soto National Forest. All work shall be in accordance with this Description of Work, Project Drawings, the Standard Specifications for Construction of Roads and Bridges on Federal Highways Projects and Forest Service Supplemental Specifications. The site is located in Section 4, T4N, R7W, Greene County, Mississippi. From Sand Hill, go 0.6 mile north on Highway 63 and turn right on Highway 42. Go 1.3 miles on Highway 42 and take a right on Turkey Fork Road. Go 2.7 miles on Turkey Fork Road and turn left into the Turkey Fork Recreation Area. Go 250’ and bear right, then continue for another 0.4 mile and the project site will be on the right. This project is total 100% small business set-aside FAR 36.204, the magnitude of this project is: (B) Between $25,000 and $100,000 • Site Visit: A formal site visit is not planned. The site is available for viewing at your leisure.
