The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Forest Service, National Forests in Mississippi, is soliciting proposals for Gopher Tortoise Survey on the De Soto National Forest. The contractor shall provide all the labor, equipment, supplies, services, and licenses/permits necessary to perform comprehensive survey of gopher tortoise in compliance with terms, specifications, conditions, and provisions of this solicitation. Work consists of the surveying of approximately 6,803 acres or 25 sites to determine the population trends of gopher tortoises and habitat quality on selected sites on the De Soto National Forest. This is a request for quotes which will result in a firm fix priced contract with a performance period from the date of award through November 01, 2019. Award will be made based on the best value to the government and can be made on initial offers. This project is set-aside 100% for small businesses. Service Contract Act wage rates apply. NAICS code for this requirement is 115310. Interested vendors should register to receive email notifications through this site. All offerors who submit a proposal for this project must be registered in the Systems for Award Management (SAM) database and must have completed Online Representations and Certifications (ORCA) in accordance with FAR 52.204-8.
