The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Forest Service announces an opportunity at the Monongahela National Forest in Webster County, West Virginia for work that shall include, but not be limited to mowing and rushing, removal of existing bridge deck, resetting the bridge, installation of replacement bridge deck, disposal of the old materials, remove existing guardrail, superstructure cleaning and painting with 100% containment, riprap placement, and installing gravel to approaches. The work is subject to the Construction Wage Rate Requirements statute, formerly known as the Davis-Bacon Act, and is set-aside for small businesses. In accordance with FAR Part 13, no previous synopsis was posted subject to FAR 13.105(a) with reference to the exception found at FAR 5.202(13). Interested contractors must be active in SAM.gov on the date the quote is received to be eligible for award. Quotes submitted by contractors without an active record in SAM.gov will not be considered. The solicitation is posted to SAM.gov and no hard copies of the solicitation, supporting documents and applicable amendments, if any, will be provided. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this solicitation or any follow up information requests.
