THIS PRESOLICITATION NOTICE IS ISSUED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES PRIOR TO THE ISSUANCE OF THE SOLICITATION. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL, QUOTE, OR BID. The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Forest Service anticipates issuing a Small Business Set-Aside, Invitation for Bid (IFB) opportunity for the Lincoln Woods Trail Reconstruction project on the White Mountain National Forest, Grafton County, New Hampshire. The work includes the reconstruction of a trail and slope stabilization requiring coffer dams, site work, slope stabilization, and restoration of the disturbed area. The contractor shall provide all expertise, labor, supervision, services, equipment, tools, supplies, coordination with utilities, transportation, and incidentals necessary to complete the work. Final project completion shall be no later than 10/1/26. Site disturbing activities shall be performed in accordance with the periods of restriction noted in Plans, Permits, or other instructions. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 237310. The Small Business Administration size standard is $45 million. The estimated magnitude of construction for this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Contractors are required to be actively registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov to be considered for the award. This is a FREE registration. No hard copies of the solicitation, supporting documents, and applicable amendments, if any will be provided. To receive the entire solicitation package and any applicable amendments, prospective offerors must download them from the Governmentwide point of entry at SAM.gov at no charge in accordance with FAR 5.204. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis, the pending solicitation or any follow-up information requests. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be publicized on SAM.gov on or close to 6/6/25 for at least 30 days with the bid opening estimated within 7 days of bid closing.
