The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Forest Service announces an opportunity on the Superior National Forest for the Greenwood Area ERFO Road Repairs. The Davis-Bacon and Related Acts (DBRA) apply to this solicitation and is set-aside for small businesses. See attachments for complete details and bid submission instructions. This announcement constitutes a solicitation for construction issued as an Invitation to Bid (IFB) in accordance with FAR Part 14. Interested contractors must be active in SAM.gov on the date the bid is received to be eligible for award. Quotes submitted by contractors without an active record in SAM.gov will not be considered. The solicitation is posted to SAM.gov and no hard copies of the solicitation, supporting documents and applicable amendments, if any, will be provided. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this solicitation or any follow up information requests. The USDA Forest Service anticipates issuing an Invitation For Bids (IFB) for a Firm Fixed Price type contract. It is the intent of this contract to procure road work, ditch work and culvert work for the Superior National Forest. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, supplies, and incidentals to perform all work necessary. The solicitation and related documents will ONLY be available for download at the System for Award management (https://SAM.gov) on or about July 16, 2025. No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed out. Interested vendors should register to receive notifications through sam.gov. The resulting contract magnitude is anticipated to be between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. NAICS: 237310 Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction, the size standard is $45.0Million. This project is being solicited as a 100% set aside for Small Business. All work is to comply with local, Federal and State codes and is subject to applicable wage rates. Contract Award Under this solicitation, one contract may be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder who is responsive to the solicitation. 4. Scope Provide roadway resurfacing, ditching, culvert replacements, and road base improvements on FR 313, FR 309, and FR 1388 to repair damage caused during 2022 and 2024 storm events, replace deteriorating infrastructure and improve future resiliency of infrastructure.
