The USDA Forest Service anticipates issuing a Request for Proposal for a Firm Fixed Price type contract. It is the intent of this contract to procure bridge replacement work for the White Mountain National Forest. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, supplies (except those designated as Government-Furnished), and incidentals to perform all work necessary. The solicitation and related documents will ONLY be available for download at the System for Award management (www.SAM.gov) on or about June 18, 2024. No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed out. Interested vendors should register to receive notifications through this site. The resulting contract magnitude is anticipated to be between $250,000 and $500,000. NAICS: 237310 Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction, the size standard is $45.0Million. This project is being solicited as a 100% set aside for Small Business. All work is to comply with local, Federal and State codes and is subject to applicable wage rates. Location of Project Work The work will be performed on White Mountain National Forest, in Coos County, NH. 2. Firm Fixed Price contract The Government will be seeking proposals for a firm fixed price contract for the replacement of Bog Dam 4 Road Bridge. 3. Contract Award Under this solicitation, one contract may be awarded to the offeror whose proposal represents the best value to the Government. 4. Scope of Contract Work includes: demolition of the 41 ft bridge superstructure, without damaging the existing abutments; construction of a new 41 ft superstructure (using steel stringers, a timber deck and wearing surface); armoring shore with riprap; and approach surface treatment. All project work shall be completed by 06/28/2025.
