AMENDMENT 0003 incorporates Questions and Answers as of 2/29/2024. No extension. AMENDMENT 0002 extended due date. Now closes 3/7/2024 by 2 pm Eastern also changed performance period and adds groud work restrictions Q&A posted as of 2/15/2024 AMENDMENT 0001 extended due date. Now closes 2/22/2024 by 2 pm Eastern This project consists of site improvements to the Iargo Springs Interpretive Site. The existing vault toilet buildings will be removed and replaced. The existing information kiosk will be removed and replaced with new interpretive signage panels. The existing wood stair, from the upper parking area to the lower boardwalk, will be removed and replaced. The upper observation overlook decking will be removed and replaced. Select areas of the lower boardwalk will also be removed and replaced with at grade pathways, and new elevated boardwalk loops will be constructed across Cooke Dam Pond. The period of performance of this project is through September 27, 2024. UPDATED via Amendment 0001: All clearing and associated tree removal items must be completed before March 29, 2024.or after July 15, 2024 Project is located in Iosco County, Michigan. Driving directions are as follows: From the Huron Shores Ranger Station, travel southeast on south Cedar Street for a few hundred feet. Turn left onto F41 and continue northwest for 3.1 miles. Turn left onto Rea Road, and then turn right after 3.1 miles, where Rea Road turns into Bissonette Road to continue on Rea Road for another 1.8 miles. Turn right onto East River Road, and continue west for 12.2 miles to reach the parking lot for Iargo Springs, on the north side of River Road, adjacent to Cooke Dam Pond.
