This is a Presolicitation notice being released pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 5. The USDA Forest Service (FS), Hoosier National Forest, has a requirement for a dam removal and channel/floodplain restoration work. The work will take place in Lawrence County, IN. This procurement will be solicited using North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 237990 – Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction, with a small business size standards of $45M. Invitation for Bid (IFB) for this acquisition will be released on or about May 15, 2024, and will close approximately 30 days after. This acquisition will be competed as a Small business Set Aside. Magnitude of Construction: Between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Period of Performance (estimated): 7/15/2024 - 7/15/2025. This Pre-solicitation Notice seeks to provide information to interested parties about potential opportunity to construct new work, additions, alterations, or maintenance and repairs for road and other transportation related repair and construction services. This Presolicitation Notice does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service. Respondents are advised that the United States (U.S) Government will not pay for any information or administrative cost incurred in response to this Presolicitation Notice. All costs associated with responding to this Presolicitation Notice will be solely at the responding party's expense.
