PROJECT DESCRIPTION This project is for the construction services to complete the Grand Island Staircase (s) Great American Outdoor Act project to include the removal of two staircases, converting these staircases to viewing platforms, and the repair of disturbed areas at Waterfall Beach and Mather Beach. The work will also include the removal of the existing staircase, the installation of a new staircase with an aluminum section that can be raised during the offseason, shoreline stabilization, and construction of drainage swales at the Hemlock location. PROJECT LOCATION The project area is located on the west side of Grand Island National Recreation Area in Munising, Michigan. PROJECT MAGNITUDE The magnitude of this project is: Between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE Estimated Period of Performance: 06/03/2024 through 09/30/2024. A COMPLETE SOLICITATION PACKAGE WILL BE POSTED TO SAM.GOV ON OR BEFORE 08/18/2023
