This project consists of drainage improvements and HMA placement. Work includes, but is not limited to, mobilization, construction staking, earthworks, placing aggregate, placing HMA-LVSP, furnishing and placing topsoil, placing conserved topsoil, turf establishment, and placing pavement markings. Project is located in Iosco County, Michigan. Driving directions are as follows: From the intersection of US-23 and River Road in Oscoda MI, go 3.5 miles West on River Road to FSR 4851/ Whirlpool Rd where you will reach the project location. This is a high traffic area during a limited tourist season. Pre-work can begin prior to 7 September 2022, however actual ground work may not begin until after Labor day weekend. Completion anticipated by end of September 2022.
