Solicitation Amendment 0001 posted 6/3/2022 changes the gutter requirement from 150 linear feet to 75 linear feet and includes additional photos of the project. The photos are attached to the amendment. The amendment must be signed and included with the quote. All other terms & conditions remain unchanged. +++ The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Forest Service announces an opportunity on the White Mountain National Forest. This project consists of improvements to the Dolly Copp Campground garage and toilet building located at the campground’s picnic area. The improvement at the garage includes the removal, disposal, and replacement of four garage doors and 13 double windows as well as removal of a concrete chimney and installation of 150 linear feet of gutters. The improvement at the picnic area includes the installation of a new roofing system for the toilet building, new concrete landings at both entrances of the building, improve the gravel walking pads and rebuild the screen walls. The work is subject to the Construction Wage Rate Requirements statute, formerly known as the Davis-Bacon Act, and is set-aside for small businesses. See attachments for complete details and quote submission instructions. This announcement constitutes a solicitation for construction issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). In accordance with FAR Part 13, no previous synopsis was posted subject to FAR 13.105(a) with reference to the exception found at FAR 5.202(13). Interested contractors must be active in SAM.gov at the date and time quotes are due to be eligible for award. Quotes submitted by contractors without an active record in SAM.gov will not be considered. The solicitation is posted to this www.SAM.gov announcement and no hard copies of the solicitation, supporting documents and applicable amendments, if any, will be provided. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this solicitation or any follow up information requests.
