The USDA Forest Service announces a Small Business Set-Aside, Invitation for Bid opportunity for the Bison Pasture Fencing project on the Midewin National Tall Grass Prairie. This work consists of furnishing and installing a combination of woven wire and steel welded fencing including steel posts, wood posts, concrete, gates, hardware, fasteners, accessories, and incidentals to install exterior/perimeter fencing around the bison pastures. The applicable NorthAmerican Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238990. The Small Business Administration size standard is $16.5 million. The estimated magnitudeof construction for this project is between $250,000,000 and $500,000,000. Contractors are required to be actively registered with the System for AwardManagement (SAM) at www.sam.gov in order to be considered for award.Registering in the SAM system is FREE. No reimbursement will be made for anycosts associated with providing information in response to this synopsis, thepending solicitation or any follow up information requests. The solicitation willbe posted to the SAM.gov website at https://sam.gov/ on or about February 25, 2022. No hard copies of the solicitation, supporting documents and applicable amendments, if any, will be provided. To receive the entire solicitation package and any applicable amendments, prospective offerors must download them from the SAM.gov website. The contractor shall provide all management and project administration services, quality control, logistical support, vehicles, labor, equipment and materials to complete the work described in the solicitation.
