There is no change to the response date. Update 09/08/2021: The purpose of this update is to incorporate Amendment 0001 into the solicitation. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged. This announcement constitutes a Solicitation for construction, in accordance with FAR Subpart 13; no previous synopsis was posted subject to 13.105(a) with reference to the exception found at FAR 5.202(13). Interested offerors must be active in SAM.gov at the date and time quotes are due to be eligible for award. Quotes submitted by contractors without an active record in SAM.gov will not be considered. Scope of Work: The U.S. Forest Service is soliciting offers for a single award, firm-fixed price (FFP) contract type with an estimated magnitude between $25,00.00 and $100,000.00. The project consists of but is not limited to the following major items: Chippewa NF Deer River Ranger Office Site Exterior Staining; Stain the exterior of 3 buildings at the Chippewa National Forest Deer River Administrative Site located at 1235 Division Street, Deer River, MN 56636 . The exterior of the buildings is cedar and/or composite siding (see the photos). The total surface area to be stained is approximately 13,250 square feet. Chippewa NF Supervisor’s Office Exterior Staining and Gutter Maintenance: Stain the exterior of the Chippewa National Forest Supervisor’s Office Building located at 200 Ash Ave NW in Cass Lake, MN 56633. The exterior of the building is large pine log construction (see the drawings). The surface area to be stained is approximately 6,000 square feet. Refurbish existing roof gutters. Clean and seal all existing gutter joints from the top side. Refurbish and seal existing gutter downspouts to provide solid attachment and leak-free operation. This opportunity is set aside for total small businesses.
