Question 1. What type of generator did the FS purchase (manufacture and model number)? Response: The Generac generator model number is RD03024GDAE. Question 2. In the PDF bid form it asked for a price on a thermostat and a automation board. Could you please expand more on that? Response: It is unknown whether the generator already has a control system built in or not. Contractor will have to verify, and insure it is an automatic system. Question 3. Is there a site plan for where the work will be performed: Response: A Site Plan has been added as Attachment 3 to the solicitation. Solicitation Amendment 0002 also clarifies that this RFQ is a small business set aside. There is a clerical error on the SF18. All other terms & conditions remain unchanged. Interested parties may participate in the site visit on August 17, 2021 at 1000 ET so that they can inspect the system to be installed. Place of site visit is 359 Main Rd, Delaware, Ohio 43015. Failure to attend the site visit will not be grounds for an extension. Install Forest Service supplied 30 KW Diesel generator to provide backup power to three greenhouses using the Head house electrical room as the primary hub and control station for the new system with a second system installed in the tall green house. Contractors are required to be registered in SAM at the time a quotation is submitted in order to comply with the annual representations and certifications requirements. The solicitation is posted to this www.SAM.gov announcement and no hard copies of the solicitation, supporting documents and applicable amendments, if any, will be provided. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this solicitation or any follow up information requests.
