All work shall comply with standard construction practices including the appropriate sections of the Standard Specifications for Construction of Roads and Bridges on Federal Highway Projects FP-03. This procurement will be solicited usingNorth American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 237310—Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction, with a small business size standard of $39.5M. An Invitation for Bidfor this acquisitionwill be released on or about August 30, 2021 andwill close on or about September29, 2021. It is anticipated that the contract will begin on or about October22, 2021. This acquisition will be competed as a 100% TotalSmall Business Set Aside.This Pre-solicitation Notice seeks to provide information to interested parties about potential opportunity to construct new work, additions, alterations, or maintenance and repairsfor roadand other transportation related repair and construction services. This Pre-solicitation Notice does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service. Respondents are advised that the United States (U.S) Government will not pay for any information or administrative cost incurred in response to this Pre-solicitation Notice. All costs associated with responding to this Pre-solicitation Notice will be solely at the responding party's expense. Please be advised that all submissions become Government property and will not be returned.
