P... This is a pre-solicitation Notice full plans and specifications will be posted on this site on or about June 21, 2021. The estimated magnatude of this project is between $400,000.00 and $600,000.00. Project Description: The project consists of but is not limited to the following major items: Construct a new 3,010 gross square foot fire vehicle garage which includes heated vehicle storage, exercise space, accessible restroom and shower and laundry facilities. The building will have a 6” steel reinforced thickened slab with hydronic radiant heat as shown in the drawings. The building will be wood frame construction with 2 x 6 x12’ walls meeting an R value of 22.5 (min) with dense packed cellulous & rigid foam insulation. Premanufactured trusses will be used and ceiling insulation will be blown cellulous with a minimum R value of 49. The building will architecturally blend with the historic buildings on site with colors and features such as asphalt shingles and lap siding. All lighting will be LED and will have designated receptacles for future vehicle charging stations as identified in the drawings. There will be selective demolition of existing power poles and overhead power lines. This work is identified in the site plan drawings.
