Project: Green Knob Fire Tower Rehab ******Solicitation Amendment 0001- 5/7/2024***** This solicitation is amended to incorporate the following: 1) Incorporate the RFI questions and responses into the terms and conditions of thesolicitation and resultant contract. (Reference "Questions and Answers- As of 4-26-24 Green Knob Fire Tower Rehab") 2) Incorporate the updated Statement of Work that adds specifications for the painting of the wood tower exterior into the terms and conditions. (Reference "Green Knob Fire Tower 2024 Rehab SOW Rev 1") 3) Incorporate the following clauses into the solicitation and resultant contract related to protection of Government property: FAR 52.236-9, Protection of Existing Vegetation, Structures, Equipment, Utilities, and Improvements; and FAR 52.236-13 Accident Prevention. 4) Extend the response date to 5-13-24 at 1700 hrs. EST. This is a request for proposal for the Green Knob Fire Tower Rehab project in the Appalachian Ranger District of Pigsah National Forest. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, supplies, supervision, and any other incidentals necessary to perform all work required as listed in the Schedule of Items and Statement of Work. This project is historical in nature and requires specific experience. Please read the solicitation and all associated documents completely before submitting a response to this solicitation. A site visit will be held April 26, 2024 at 10:00 am EST. There are two maps that give instructions for where to meet and what to expect for the site visit location; reference attachment A & B.
