Amendment 0002 - Amendment to upload/add Black Mountain Cover Sheet in Sam.gov NC MATOC Road Maintenance and Construction Contract Amendment 0001 - Amendment to respond to RFI's, extend due by date, and include SF1442 in Sam.gov NC MATOC Road Maintenance and Construction Contract. The USDA, USFS, Southern Region (R8), National Forests in North Carolina (NFsNC) intends to solicit a 5-year Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) for road maintenance, road construction, and minor engineering services for the Forest Service roads on all National Forests in the state of North Carolina. This contract will focus on the National Forests in North Carolina, but also include surrounding Ranger Districts in adjacent states of Tennessee, Georgia, Virginia, and South Carolina. This solicitation will result in multi-awards Indefinite Quantity, Indefinite Delivery (IDIQ), maintenance and construction contracts for each of the four (4) Forest Zones. Offerors are required to submit a separate quotation package for each seed project for the corresponding Forest Zone for which they wish to be considered for an award. The resultant contracts will consist of the four Forest Zones listed below having a separate multi-award IDIQ group of Contractors who will be submitting price proposals for Task Orders that will be issued for the 5-year duration of the contract. The USDA, USFS, Southern Region (R8), National Forests in North Carolina (NFsNC) intends to solicit a 5-year Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) for road maintenance, road construction, and minor engineering services for the Forest Service roads on all National Forests in the state of North Carolina. Road Maintenance work will consist of a variety of road maintenance tasks which will be itemized, described, quantified and or specified on individual task orders. Road Construction work and related services may include Road repair/reconstruction & construction: Work includes repair and construction of native surface, gravel or paved roads; and road repair and reconstruction due to damage from human or natural causes. Bridge: Work includes repair and construction of steel, concrete, and timber road bridges; reconstruction of approaches; and related stream work within the project area. Engineering Services limited to engineering studies, testing, surveys and analysis. Location - This contract will focus on the National Forests in North Carolina, but also include surrounding Ranger Districts in adjacent states of Tennessee, Georgia, Virginia, and South Carolina. Each task order will identify a specific project location, work may be performed at any of the 4 Forest Zones.
