Amendment 0001- Extends solicitation, gives deadline for RFI's, adds note for Section B1. The intent of this BPA is to provide coverage within 5 categories of activities related to recreational trails within the Southern Region of the Forest Service which includes National Forest System lands in Alabama, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Puerto Rico, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia. These 5 categories are further described detail in the solicitation but are categorized as follows: Field Locating, Trail Assessment, and Operational Planning Project Management and Facilitation Trail Construction Trail Maintenance Training Call orders will cover a broad array of trail work on a variety of trails including multi-use trails, motorized, non-motorized trails, and purpose built/use specific trails. Trails may be located within Congressionally Designated Wilderness areas of the Forests. The Contractor shall furnish the necessary personnel, material, equipment, facilities, services, supplies, travel, transportation, and training (except as otherwise specified in each BPA Call), to perform the Performance Work Statement (PWS)/Specifications referenced in Section C within the timeframe specified in Section F of each BPA Call. The Contractor shall assume all risk, loss, damage, or expense arising out of the prosecution of the work, except as otherwise provided in each individual Project BPA Call. The agreement incorporates Standard Specifications for Construction of Trails and Trail Bridges on Forest Service Projects from the National Technology and Development Program, 10/30/2014 (or any future approved version) in U. S. customary measurement format, which applies to all BPA Calls. It also incorporates both the Forest Service Outdoor Recreation Accessibility Guidelines (FSORAG) and the Forest Service Trail Accessibility Guidelines (FSTAG). The agreement also allows incorporation of project-specific specifications through inclusion in each Individual Project BPA Call. This is a Blanket Purchase Agreement, allowing specific projects to be ordered via Individual Project BPA Calls as they are developed.
