Amendment 0001 - The purpose of this amendment is to extend the solicitations' Offers Due By Date and Time to: September 2, 2021 @ 1600hrs ET. This purpose of this contract is to maintain system roads... Amendment 0001 - The purpose of this amendment is to extend the solicitations' Offers Due By Date and Time to: September 2, 2021 @ 1600hrs ET. This purpose of this contract is to maintain system roads on the National Forest in Alabama. While the primary focus of this contract will be the maintenance of open system roads, any system road deemed necessary for administrative access may be scheduled for maintenance. For purposes of this contract, a system road shall also include any county or state road for which the Forest Service has entered into a maintenance agreement. This contract consists of two primary elements: a routine maintenance element subject to SCA wages and a minor construction up to $35,000.00 subject to Davis-Bacon Act wage rates. Wage determinations will be issued by the Contracting Officer (CO) for each task order. The Contractor shall provide any and all equipment, labor, materials, tools, supervision, equipment including safety and other incidentals necessary to perform all work for the maintenanceroad maintenance activities located within the boundaries of the National Forests in Alabama in accordance with the specification, exhibits and clauses contained or referenced herein. The work consists of routine maintenance activities normally associated with gravel and native-surfaced single and doublelane roads. Specifications that are referenced by other specifications are not listed below but are still applicable. Any specifications referenced by the supplemental specifications shall be applicable to this contract. Work may be performed at any location within and adjacent to the boundaries of the National Forests Redbird Ranger District of the Daniel Boone National Forest (DBNF). Administrative sites, recreation sites and other sites associated with the DBNF National Forests is included.
