The U.S. Forest Service, Southern Region (8), is soliciting quotes for Roof Replacement and Structural Repairs within the Tuskegee National Forest in the State of Alabama. The North American Industry Classification System [NAICS] code for this acquisition is 236220 with the Size Standard of $39.50. The awarded contract will be Firm-Fixed-Price. The Request for Quotation [RFQ] is issued August 4th, 2021. Pre-Bid/Pre-Proposal Conference: Scheduled for August 11th, 2021 at 11am CT. MUST PRE-REGISTER BY August 10th 2021 1200 EST by emailing alicia.hawkins@usda.gov. In the case there are no pre-registrations, the site visit will be cancelled. QUESTIONS ARE DUE NO LATER THAN 1:00 PM EST on August 13th, 2021. The date and time for receipt of proposals is August 20th, 2021 5pm Eastern Standard Time [EST]. Quotes shall be submitted electronically by email ONLY. No hardcopy proposals will be accepted. Contractors/vendors MUST be registered in the System for Award Management [SAM] system PRIOR to submitting the proposal and/or by the proposal due date. The System for Award Management [SAM] is a Federal Government-owned and operated web site, free for public use, and consolidates the capabilities of CCR, ORCA, and EPLS. Interested parties are hereby notified that the solicitation is available exclusively on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps, FBO) website, www.fbo.gov. The solicitation, attachments, and amendments will be published for viewing, printing, and downloading from the FBO website only. It is the potential offeror's responsibility to monitor FBO for the release of additional information or amendments. No hardcopy/paper versions of the solicitation or amendments will be distributed. All prospective bidders are responsible for visiting Federal Business Opportunities frequently and obtaining any amendments or other information pertaining to the solicitation.
