PROJECT OVERVIEW The Base Bid consists of aircraft parking apron pavement expansion, including 4,770 SY of Portland cement concrete pavement and 6,000 SY of asphalt pavement; associated work includes pavement removal, storm sewer, and pavement markings. Also included in the Base Bid is 90 SY of asphalt pavement access road widening with associated pavement markings, signage, and inductive loop detector modification. Refer to the full drawing set for specific details. Bid Option (Additive) 1 consists of 2,820 SY of asphalt pavement aircraft parking apron expansion; associated work includes pavement markings and aircraft tie-down anchors. This procurement will be solicited using North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 237310—Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction, with a small business size standard of $39.5M. This will be solicited using FAR Part 14--Sealed Bidding. The Invitation for Bid (IFB) will be posted on or about 22 February 2021 and the closing date will be approximately 30 days after. Full plans and specifications will be available for download from beta.sam.gov. A site visit will be held 10 -15 days after the IFB is issued. Opening of bids will be at the time and date identified on the IFB in Atlanta, GA. This acquisition will be competed as a 100% Total Small Business Set Aside. This Pre-solicitation Notice seeks to provide information to interested parties about potential opportunity to construct Aircraft Parking Apron Pavement Expansion, Lake City, FL.
