This solicitation is to serve as a seed project for the Daniel Boone National Forest Road Construction MATOC, North Zone. Solicitation NO: 12445123R0009 This project is in the Cave Run Lake Recreational Area on the Cumberland Ranger District of the Daniel Boone National Forest near the community of Farmers, KY in Rowan County. This project stabilizes multiple slope failures, fixes several culverts by cleaning, patching or replacing, cleans and reestablishes ditches leading to the culverts. The project is necessary to maintain public access of the 5,450± Linear Feet (LF) of NFSR 16, comply with the Highway Safety Act, and correct non-point source soil erosion to comply with the Clean Water Act. Unless otherwise provided in the Contract Documents, the Contractor shall provide and pay for labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and other facilities and services necessary for proper execution and completion of the Work.
