This contract supports a Congressionally funded Hurricane Helene disaster recovery assessment. The project focuses on rivercane (Arundinaria gigantea) to evaluate its contribution to streambank stability, persistence through historical high-water events, and potential as a restoration tool. It also assesses damage to riparian areas and site suitability for restoration efforts. A Statement of Work and evaluation criteria are referenced as attachments.
