The USDA-Forest Service requires a mobile tower to install meteorological instruments above a forest canopy to take measurements to conduct scientific research. The mobile tower (Aluma Trailer Company, Trailer Tower Model 51-20/T-100H or equal) tower must be at least 100 feet tall, able to support 50lbs of instrumentation.
