Deliverables will include 1) image files, 2) image files that have been georeferenced to the projection of the original maps and 3) returning the maps to the International Institute of Tropical Forestry (IITF) library. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 541370 Surveying and Mapping (except Geophysical) Services and the size standard is $16.5M. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this solicitation. IMPORTANT Offeror must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to receive a federal contract. Requirements/Credentials Expert knowledge and experience scanning and georeferencing historical topographic maps and land-cover maps. Experience scanning and georeferencing large numbers (>10,000) of United States Geological Survey topographic maps. Size of Maps - 20” x 30” approx. Dots per inch - Minimum 400 dpi *The maps are folded and somewhat delicate, but they are not degraded. (SEE ATTACHED SOLICITATION)
