The USDA National Agroforestry Center is conducting market research to determine availability of interested vendors capable of developing and hosting a series of webinars that highlights USDA programs that have been used to suport adoption of agroforestry. Part of the mission of the USDA National Agroforestry Center is to promote the understanding and adoption of agroforestry. In addition, one goal of the USDA Agroforestry Strategic Framework is to facilitate the integration of agroforestry information to meet the goals and objectives of USDA agencies. The Center has determined that there is a lack of knowledge by both farmers and agency assistance providers regarding how the many USDA programs can be utilized to promote and support the establishment and management of agroforestry operations.
