The USDA Forest Service, National Forests in North Carolina, has a requirement for custodial operations and ground maintenance services for the National Forests in North Carolina, Pisgah National Forest, Appalachian Ranger District, Roan Mountain Recreation Area and Poplar Boat Launch, Mitchell County, NC. Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supplies, tools, materials, transportation and supervision necessary to perform custodial and ground maintenance services in accordance with the statement of work and quality assurance standards. Proposed contract will be for a base year with three (3) one-year options. Award will be based on BEST VALUE to the Government price and other factors considered. Evaluation factors are technical capability, past performance, and price. The solicitation and related documents will be available for download at http://fbo.gov/ on or about May 22, 2019. No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed out. Interested vendors should register to receive notifications through this site. The government will award one contract as a result of this Request For Proposal. This solicitation is 100% set aside for small business concerns. In order to receive award under this RFP the successful offeror shall be registered in the System for Awards Management Database (SAM) at www.sam.gov and be a certified 100% Small Business. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the Forest Service.
