The USDA Forest Service, Forest Products Laboratory intends to issue a firm fixed price, award for Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) mechanical service agreement and maintenance contract. 1. One (1) full service which includes washing of evaporator and condenser coils, replacing Multi-pleated Merv-10 filters, and replacing belts, if applicable. 2. Three (3) inspection services, which includes replacing filters and visual inspection of coils. (Filters are included in the overall cost). Total of four (4) inspections annually per previous year schedule. Equipment including cooler units, furnace unit, evaporator unit, air handling unit, duct heater, hot water coil, exhaust fans and make up air units are manufactured by Carrier. There are also three Mitsubishi mini split air conditioners. The service work must be completed by Carrier authorized representative and have SAM registration. The equipment is in three different buildings located at 210 Lincoln Green, Starkville MS, which is in the Golden Triangle area. The award will be issued as base contract with 4 option years. The procurement is being conducted under FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) – Simplified acquisitions. The anticipated award date is 3/15/2023. The Northern American Classification Code (NAICS) for this requirement is 238220 and $19.0 million. A solicitation will not be issued.
