Hemlock Woolly Adelgid (HWA) Treatment
The contractor must provide insecticide treatment services to protect Eastern hemlock trees from Hemlock Woolly Adelgid (HWA) infestation within the Allegheny National Forest. Performance locations include Elk, Forest, McKean, and Warren Counties in Pennsylvania. The contractor is responsible for all labor, materials, equipment, insecticide, transportation, and supervision. Approved application methods may include soil injection, soil drench, soil tablets, basal bark sprays, or stem injections. Work may occur on gentle to steep terrain under typical field conditions.
