AMENDED TO MOVE THE CLOSING DATE TO 06/18/2021 @ 1600 CT The Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest (CNNF) owns and maintains 30+ water control structures; each is a set height or adjusted using stop logs. Several structures also contain gates or valves for rapid drawdown which are not regularly used or maintained. The CNNF seeks to ensure appurtenances are operational before implementing a new Gate/Valve Operation & Maintenance. Work to be done: Assess functionality of each appurtenance, complete general maintenance work, and provide detailed description and cost estimate of any work needed (beyond general maintenance) to restore full functionality. Provide report documenting all findings, work completed, and additional work needed.
