Contractor will perform duties relating to the operation and maintenance of the wastewater treatment plant at Hardin Ridge Recreation Area in the Hoosier National Forest. Recreational opportunities at Hardin Ridge include camping, boating, swimming, and fishing. The treatment plant serves the 210-site campground and is operational the months of April 01st through November 01st. The system is a Class 1, 0.034 MGD extended aeration treatment facility consisting of two aeration/clarification units, a sludge holding tank, Parkson DynaSand continuous backwash sand filter, ultraviolet light disinfection, phosphorus removal, post aeration, and effluent flow meter.
