The Huron-Manistee National Forest is requesting quotes for a Firm-Fixed Price, Base + 4, IDIQ contract for land site preparation. The site prep will be done with the use of the Government owned T.26b... The Huron-Manistee National Forest is requesting quotes for a Firm-Fixed Price, Base + 4, IDIQ contract for land site preparation. The site prep will be done with the use of the Government owned T.26b Bracke 2-Row Disk Trencher. The awardee is free to substitute their own Bracke, Roller Chopper, or Anchor Chain System upon approval of the Contracting Officer Representative. The work consist of pulling a T.26b Bracke 2-Row Disk Trencher with a manufacturer recommended prime mover. It is the intent through this combined Synopsis/Solicitation to secure labor, equipment, and supplies necessary to accomplish Bracke scarifing in order to hand plant on the Huron-Manistee National Forests in accordance with the technical specificatons set forth in the Statement of Work, which is attached. Please see the Statement of Work, Schedule of Items, Area Site Map for specificatons, scheduling and locations. There will not be a pre-quote submittal meeting.
