The purpose of this Combined Synopsis/Solicitation is to out fit five (5) new emergency comand vehciles with emergency lights, sirens, radios, and reflective stripping, removing and transferring equipment from five (5) existing command vehicles to the five (5) new USDA Forest Service Vehicles as listed in the Statement of Work for the Huron-Manistee National Forest, Cadillac, MI. Some equipment will be purchased as new and other equipment will be removed from the existing vehicles and reinstalled in the new vehicles. Refer to Attachment for specific details, Schedule of Work, Schedule of Items and Wage Determination. Amended 8/20/21 - Place of Performance for the installation: The vehicles will need to be transported to an offsite location within a reasonable distance from the HMNF office for the work to be completed as there is not adequate space for the work to be completed at the HM Forest office.
