The Manchester Ranger District requires groundskeeping services at two administrative sites and five Recreational Sites spread across the district. Lawns, roadway sides, campground sites, and designated surrounding areas shall be mowed or otherwise maintained as open, cleared spaces beginning no later than one week prior to the Friday of Memorial Day weekend through the month of October. All sites will be prepared for summer maintenance prior to first mow of the season. The grass and other growth at all sites shall be mowed to maintain heights of grass at 5”- 8” on a site-specific basis, throughout the growing season. Roadsides and campground features shall be kept trimmed as to be clearly visible throughout the operating season. Grass lawns at all sites shall be maintained at a height of no taller than 5” throughout the growing season and be kept free of debris during shoulder seasons. The lawn at Hapgood Pond Day Use Area shall be mowed on Tuesday through Friday mornings between the hours of 0700 – 1100, Memorial Day weekend through Columbus Day weekend. Other site-speci ied openings shall be maintained to a height of no taller than 8” throughout the operating season. Maps and Wage Determination are attached within RFQ.
