The National Forests in Mississippi has a requirement to replace one failed 60” x 60’ corrugated metal pipe culvert with one 72” x 60’ 16 gage polymer coated corrugated metal pipe culvert on Road 703 on the Delta National Forest in Sharkey County, Mississippi. The project location is 1.033 miles west of Highway 16, about four miles west of Holly Bluff, Mississippi. Road 703 is an aggregate surfaced road further detailed in the Solicitation/ Request for Proposals. This activity is considered construction, Davis-Bacon wage rates apply, and payment/performance bonds (or alternate forms of payment protection) may be required based on the value of the awarded purchase order. The USDA Forest Service encourages the participation of small, disadvantaged, service disabled veteran, and women owned business enterprises. The primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 237310 and the small business size standard is $39.5 million. The proposed contract is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. All responsible, qualified small businesses may submit an offer, which will be considered by the Forest Service.
