The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Field Procurement Operations (FPO) East Zone CSA #4, Supplies and Services is conducting market research to determine if there is a sufficient number of qualified Small Businesses, (i.e., small, small disadvantaged, woman owned, Hub Zone, serviced-disabled veteran-owned small business) to set aside a Purchase Order. FPO will use responses to this notice to make the appropriate acquisition decision. The contemplated solicitation will be issued in accordance with FAR Part 13. FPO will accept responses from ALL socioeconomic categories in order to gain a more complete understanding of the market for these supplies. The Government reserves the right to reject, in whole or in part, any contractor's input resulting from this Sources Sought. No contract will be awarded as a result of this announcement. Data submitted in response to this Sources Sought will not be returned. This request is for informational purposes only and the Government will not pay any costs associated with the preparation and submission of a response to this Sources Sought. The objective of this requirement is for the rental of Porta Potties and 30-yard dumpsters for use during the 2024 Solar Eclipse event on April 8th, 2024. Porta Potties and Dumpsters are needed for use during the 2024 Solar Eclipse event on April 8th, 2024. Porta Potties and 30cy dumpsters are to be delivered to the locations as specified for each district on the map(s) which are provided in their respective attachments. Daily servicing (specified days) will be required for the porta-potties consisting of pumping, disinfecting, and re-supplying hand-sanitizer and toilet paper. Delivery of the units will be April 3rd, 2024, with the first service date on April 5th, 6th and 7th no service on day of the eclipse event April 8th. Dumpsters will need no additional emptying until they are to be picked up on April 11th. Porta potty units must be removed on April 9th, and dumpsters must be removed on April 11th. For dumpsters the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 562111 – Solid Waste Collection, which contains a size standard of $47.0 Million is applicable to this acquisition. For porta potties the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 562991 – Septic and Related Services, which contains a size standard of $9.0 Million is applicable to this acquisition.
